Common use of Bargaining Unit Recognition Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Unit Recognition. The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative of the following negotiating unit of Employees: all regularly assigned full-time and part-time paraprofessionals (aides) and student supervisors, all positions which do not require professional education licensing and for which the Employees in these positions are members of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, except for all substitutes or other temporary staff; building secretaries; custodians, grounds or maintenance staff; bus drivers; food service staff; District office support staff; and all supervisors, managerial and confidential employees as defined under the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act.
