Common use of Benefits on Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Benefits on Leave of Absence. (a) Leave of Absence of Thirty (30) Days or Less Duration Employee(s) on leave of absence the duration of which is thirty (30) days or less shall continue to earn all benefits and increments provided by this agreement. (b) Leave of Absence of Over Thirty (30) Days Duration Employees on leave of absence, except Education leave, the duration of which is more than thirty (30) days shall not accumulate or earn sick leave or annual vacation credits for the period of the absence greater than thirty (30) days and a new increment date shall be established for determination of increments
