Bereavement/Serious Illness Leave. In the event of a death or serious illness in the employee’s family, or the same as related by marriage, leave without loss of pay will be extended to the employee at a maximum of five (5) days for each occurrence. The number of days will be mutually agreed upon by the employee and their immediate supervisor.
