BI-LITERATE PREMIUM. The DISTRICT will pay a bi-literate premium of $50.00 per month for each foreign language a unit member is required to translate or interpret written material (the only approved foreign language at this time is Spanish). Premium payments shall be retroactive to the month after successfully passing the examination with a score of 80% or higher. Those unit members achieving a score of 80% or higher shall be placed on an eligibility list. Once a unit member has been placed on the eligibility list, they shall remain eligible for the remainder of their employment with the DISTRICT without further examinations required. 7.3.2.1 Unit members who desire to receive the bi-literate premium shall notify the DISTRICT of their intent to take the competency examination prescribed by the DISTRICT. The examination shall be offered annually in March. 7.3.2.1.1 Unit members hired after the annual March testing date but prior to January 1 who desire to receive the bi-literate premium shall notify the DISTRICT of their intent to take the competency examination prescribed by the DISTRICT within thirty (30) days of hire. The examination shall be offered by the Office of Human Resources as soon as practicable.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Overtime Premium a) Time and one-half (1/2) shall be paid as follows: 1) For all hours worked over 8 (eight) hours per day. 2) For all hours worked over 40 (forty) hours per week. 3) For all hours worked on Sunday, unless part of the employees regularly scheduled workweek. b) Double time plus holiday pay shall be paid for all hours worked on holidays that are defined in this Agreement.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Weekend Premium An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and forty-five cents ($1.45) per hour for each hour worked between 2400 hours Friday to 2400 hours Sunday or such other 48 hour period that the Hospital may establish. If an employee is in receipt of premium payment pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, he will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective June 28, 2005, the weekend premium shall be increased to $1.55 per hour.

  • Overtime and Premium Pay A nurse shall be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the nurse’s regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in any one category listed below, including statutory overtime pay under 9.4.1 or premium pay under 9.4.2 through

  • Single Premium Credit Life Insurance None of the proceeds of the Mortgage Loan were used to finance single-premium credit life insurance policies;

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) An employee shall be paid a shift premium of eighty-five cents (85¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700 hours. (b) Effective July 1, 2013, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement.   • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • Prepayment Premium Borrower will be required to pay a prepayment premium in connection with certain prepayments of the Indebtedness, including a payment made after Lender’s exercise of any right of acceleration of the Indebtedness, as provided in the Note.

  • Short Changeover Premium (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not 24 hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of their next shift, a premium calculated at the overtime rates will be paid for hours worked on the succeeding shift within the 24-hour period. (b) Where an employee exercises seniority rights to work shifts, one of which falls within the 24-hour period from the start of the previous shift, the employee shall not be entitled to claim the premium rate referred to in (a) above.
