Employees interested in a particular assignment and wishing to be notified of an open position while on vacation, sick leave or leave of absence (not scheduled day off) may leave a written notice or a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the supervisor of the position they are interested in. It is not the unit supervisor’s responsibility to contact an employee who is not working (i.e. sick leave, vacation, leave of absence, worker’s compensation, etc.).
