Common use of Board Grievance Clause in Contracts

Board Grievance. The Board may submit a grievance in writing to the Union upon receipt of which the Union, through one (1) or more of the officers of its Grievance Committee, shall meet with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board or its authorized representative with a view to bringing about a settlement. Failing satisfactory settlement within five (5) working days after the Board submitted the grievance to the Union, the Board may submit the grievance to a Board of Arbitration under the provisions of Article 13 of this Agreement.
