Common use of Boots/Shoes Clause in Contracts

Boots/Shoes. The Employer shall reimburse uniformed employees up to $400 per year, and non-uniformed employees up to $650 per year, for black leather boots or shoes or any other ancillary law enforcement equipment and clothing as approved for on duty use by the Sheriff.

This allowance may also be used for an employee gym membership on a reimbursement basis, provided the employee provides verification of gym usage to the Sheriff on a monthly basis.
