BROKEN SHIFT PENALTY. An employee, who is required to work a shift where an interval(s) of more than one hour in the aggregate unpaid time occurs between the starting and finishing times of the shift, shall be paid a penalty as set out in Item 3 of Table 2.

  • Work Hour Penalty Eight hours of labor constitute a legal day's work, and forty hours constitute a legal week's work. Pursuant to Section 1813 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Contractor shall forfeit to the County Twenty Five Dollars ($25) for each worker employed in the execution of this Contract by the Contractor or by any subcontractor for each calendar day during which such worker is required or permitted to work more than the legal day's or week's work, except that work performed by employees of said Contractor and subcontractors in excess of the legal limit shall be permitted without the foregoing penalty upon the payment of compensation to the workers for all hours worked in excess of eight hours per day of not less than 1-1/2 times the basic rate of pay.

  • Wage Rate Penalty Pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Code Section 1775, the Contractor shall forfeit to the County, as a penalty, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25) for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each laborer, worker, or mechanic employed, paid less than the stipulated prevailing rates for Work done under this Contract, by Contractor or by subcontractors, in violation of the provisions of this Contract.

  • Prepayment Penalties 4. Any provisions in your consumer credit contract, loan, security, or account agreements that are determined to be inconsistent with or contradictory to these disclosures or the MLA (as they may be changed or amended from time to time) are inapplicable with regard to this loan.   • Contractual Penalty 1. For each instance of contravention of the restraint of competition within the meaning of §10 or of the confidentiality obligation pursuant to § 8, the Member of the Management Board shall pay a contractual penalty in an amount corresponding to the average monthly remuneration received over the 12 months preceding his departure pursuant to § 3, Paragraph 1 of this Agreement.

  • Shift Premiums (a) Evening/Night Premium Employees working an evening or night shift where the major portion of hours worked fall within the hours of 1500 and 0800 hours, shall be paid at their regular hourly rate plus a shift premium of $2.10 ($2.75 effective July 1, 2015) per hour for all hours worked.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.

  • Per Unit Penalty The strict liability per unit penalty in this case is a maximum of $10,910.00 per violation per day under Health and Safety Code section 42400 et seq., and section 38580 for violations of the Consumer Products Regulation. The per unit penalty in this case is for three days resulting in a penalty of $1,000.00 per day of violation.

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.
