Building System Assessment. If requested by the Department, within fourteen (14) days after the Preconstruction NTP is issued, the Design-Builder shall conduct an assessment report of the building systems and submit a written report to the Department that assesses whether the existing building systems can be repaired or whether such systems should be replaced. Such report shall take into consideration the nature of this Project. This report shall assess all of the buildings key systems, including, but not limited to, HVAC, kitchens, roof, windows, electrical, lighting, Audio Visual Equipment, intercom, fire alarms, and plumbing.

Such report shall take into consideration the nature of this project and the proposed Educational Specifications. This report shall assess all of the buildings key systems, including, but not limited to, HVAC, kitchens, roof, windows, electrical, lighting, Audio Visual Equipment, intercom, fire alarms, and plumbing.
Building System Assessment. If requested by the Department, within fourteen (14) days after the Preconstruction Notice to Proceed (“NTP”) is issued, the Design- Builder shall conduct an assessment report of the building systems that are affected by the recreation center addition and school cafeteria and submit a written report to the Department that assesses whether the existing building systems can be utilized or whether such systems need to be modernized. This report shall assess all of the buildings key systems, including, but not limited to, HVAC, kitchens, roof, windows, electrical, lighting, equipment, intercom, fire alarms, and plumbing. In addition to the building system assessment, the Design-Builder shall be responsible for the collection, assessment and verification of existing conditions and shall conduct a complete survey(s) of the site as required to successfully build a new recreation center and renovate the existing school cafeteria. At a minimum, the survey(s) shall include existing condition of the building and documentation of existing condition.

Section 3.1.2.2 Baseline Schedule. Within twenty one (21) days after the Preconstruction NTP is issued, the Design-Builder shall prepare and submit a Baseline Schedule for the Project (the “Baseline Schedule”). The Baseline Schedule shall be subject to review and approval by the Department and the Design-Builder shall incorporate such adjustments to the Baseline Schedule as may be reasonably requested by the Department. The Baseline Schedule shall be prepared in a critical path method (“CPM”) in a sufficient level of detail to permit the Department and the Design-Builder and any other affected parties to properly plan the Project. The Baseline Schedule shall show: (i) key design milestones and bid packages; (ii) release dates for long lead items; (iii) release dates for key subcontractors; and (iv) Substantial and Final Completion Dates. The Baseline Schedule shall include durations and logic ties for those building systems that the Design-Builder is recommending for replacement. The Baseline Schedule must also be submitted in Primavera 6 native format or Microsoft Projects and shall be updated by the Design-Builder, at a minimum, on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Building Services Labor Law Article 9 applies to Contracts for building service work over $1,500 with a public agency, that: (i) involve the care or maintenance of an existing building, or (ii) involve the transportation of office furniture or equipment to or from such building, or (iii) involve the transportation and delivery of fossil fuel to such building, and (iv) the principal purpose of which is to furnish services through use of building service employees.

  • Building With respect to each parcel of Real Estate, all of the buildings, structures and improvements now or hereafter located thereon. Business Day. Any day on which banking institutions located in the same city and State as the Agent’s Head Office are located are open for the transaction of banking business and, in the case of LIBOR Rate Loans, which also is a LIBOR Business Day.

  • Common Areas Tenant shall have the non-exclusive right to use in common with other tenants in the Project, and subject to the Rules and Regulations referred to in Article 5 of this Lease, those portions of the Project which are provided, from time to time, for use in common by Landlord, Tenant and any other tenants of the Project (such areas, together with such other portions of the Project designated by Landlord, in its discretion, including certain areas designated for the exclusive use of certain tenants, or to be shared by Landlord and certain tenants, are collectively referred to herein as the “Common Areas”). The Common Areas shall consist of the “Project Common Areas” and the “Building Common Areas.” The term “Project Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such by Landlord or areas within the Project that the occupants of the Building are permitted to utilize pursuant to a recorded declaration and which areas shall be maintained in accordance with the declaration. The term “Building Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within the Building reasonably designated as such by Landlord. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be at the reasonable discretion of Landlord and the use thereof shall be subject to the Rules and Regulations as Landlord may make from time to time. Landlord reserves the right to close temporarily, make alterations or additions to, or change the location of elements of the Project and the Common Areas, provided that, in connection therewith, Landlord shall perform such closures, alterations, additions or changes in a commercially reasonable manner and, in connection therewith, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize any material interference with Tenant’s use of and access to the Premises.

  • Project Site The “Project Site” is the place where the Work is being carried on.

  • Building Safety There shall be a Labor/Management Committee concerning the safety of State Buildings. The Committee shall be made up of one representative from each of the following bargaining units: Representing Labor - Administrative Services; Operations, Maintenance and Support Services; Law Enforcement; Professional and Technical Services; Supervisory Services; Institutional Services; and State Police Unit and an equal number of management representatives selected by the Governor. Committee members may participate in the work of the committee during working hours without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • The Site The site of the Project Highway (the “Site”) shall comprise the site described in Schedule-A in respect of which the Right of Way shall be provided by the Authority to the Contractor. The Authority shall be responsible for:

  • Building Maintenance The host facility provider shall maintain (in a state of good repair) all buildings used for the educational program. All damages made by the AGENCY’s program will be the responsibility of the AGENCY to repair.
