Educational Specifications definition

Educational Specifications means the District’s approved educational specifications for school facility construction and incorporated herein by this reference and approved by the Board.

Educational Specifications means a document for school projects by which the district or state chartered charter school identifies and quantifies the spaces a new or replacement school needs to implement its educational program. It precisely identifies the number of and size of spaces need for general, special education, elective/shared spaces, food service, administration, support spaces, and building TARE. It also contains a preliminary project budget and phasing plan, which the project designer utilizes to begin project design.

Educational Specifications means documents which explain how the educational spaces relate to the educational programs as well as the requirements of an educational Facility to house and implement the educational philosophy and institutional program.

Examples of Educational Specifications in a sentence

• The Board shall provide a program (or Educational Specifications) which outlines its design objectives, constraints and criteria, including space requirements and relationships, flexibility, expandability, special equipment and systems and site requirements.

• If major revisions to the final design phase documents are requested and made or the Board makes major revisions in the program scope or Educational Specifications, the parties shall negotiate a reasonable fee for such major revisions or changes.

Educational Specifications means how a school administrative unit describes its educational goals and activities, and the interrelationships between those educational goals and activities and their associated facilities.

Educational Specifications or “Ed. Specs.” means a document meeting the requirements of NJAC 6A:26-5.3, describing in detail the educational program activities and requirements for each space proposed in a Project.
