Bulky Items. All Bulky Items Collected as a result of performing Collection Services shall be delivered to the designated Approved Facility.

Bulky Items. The total number of Bulky Items collected from Customers, and those collected from the public rights-of-way at the request of City. The number of items containing chlorofluorocarbons shall be specified.
Bulky Items. ‘Bulky Items’ means Solid Waste that cannot or would not typically be accommodated within a Cart including specifically: furniture (including chairs, sofas, mattresses, and rugs); appliances (including refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, plumbing, small household appliances and other similar items, commonly known as "white goods"); electronic waste (including stereos, televisions, laptop computers, computers and computer monitors, VCRs, microwaves and other similar items); fluorescent bulbs; household batteries; and clothing. Bulky Items do not include car bodies, auto parts, tires, Construction and Demolition Debris, or items requiring more than two persons to remove.
Bulky Items. Contractor will do all of the following: 1. Collect up to five items, boxes or bags per pickup, up to four times per Calendar Year (or on another schedule subject to the City’s direction via notice prior to January 1 annually), of the following items that are generated and requested by SMR and LGR Customers (including renters) receiving Contract Services and discarded curbside (or other location agreed to between Contractor and Customer) within two Contract Service Days of Customer or City request, on Day specified to Customer or City: • Bulky Waste. • Special Waste (Universal Waste and E-waste). • Bagged, bundled, and/or containerized Green Waste. • Bundled or stacked Palm Fronds. 2. Collect Bulky Waste, Special Waste and E-waste in the manner described in the preceding paragraph 1. 3. Avoid breakage: do not compact or tip items from trucks. Use flatbed trucks (or other truck acceptable to City). 4. Deliver items to facilities that provide the following services, in the following order of highest to lowest priority: 1. Reuse “as is”. 2. Disassembly for Reuse or Recycling. 3. Transport Bulky Items and Reusable Items to the appropriate Approved Facility for Reuse or Processing ,Transport Organic Waste, such as Green Waste, to the Approved Organic Waste Processing Facility for Processing.
Bulky Items. Discarded furniture (including chairs, sofas, mattresses, and rugs), and appliances (including refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, small household appliances, and other similar items, commonly known as "white goods"), stereos, televisions, computers, VCRs, and other items comprising E-Waste as defined herein. Bulky Items do not include demolition and construction wastes, Universal Waste other than E­ Waste, or any item such as car bodies, Jacuzzi tubs or spas, or any other item (whether or not specifically identified herein) that cannot reasonably be handled by two individuals. In addition, Bulky Items do not include waste tires, Hazardous Waste or HHW.

Bulky Items a. Scheduling – Service Recipients shall purchase bulk stickers for the collection of a household item that is too large to fit in the Refuse Container (“Bulky Item”) as defined below. The Contractor may collect Bulky Items on a recipient’s regular refuse day. Service recipients are only allowed one item per week. Mattresses and box springs are collected separately by a mattress recycler contracted by the City. . If a mattress is rejected by the mattress recycling vendor the City will notify the Contractor and waste disposal facility (WIN Waste) of the rejection so Contractor can pick up the rejected item. b. Set-Out Procedure a. The collection point shall be next to the service recipients refuse on a regular refuse collection day or governing association of the Eligible Service Recipients, residential complex or development. The collection point shall provide safe and efficient accessibility from Contractor’s collection crew and vehicle. In the event an appropriate location cannot be agreed upon, the City shall have final determination over the point of collection. For more specific procedures on set out, please refer to Attachment F: Ordinances. b. The Contractor may reject any large items not set out in accordance with this procedure and shall follow the rejection procedure outlined in 2.6.1 (i).
