Bullet Resistant Vest. The University shall provide uniformed and plain clothes law enforcement personnel a bullet resistant vest for use during duty hours. Each bullet resistant vest will be replaced per the manufacturer’s warranty.

Bullet Resistant Vest. 1. The department will purchase a bullet resistant vest for each full time commissioned officer, CSO Field Investigator, CSO Detective, CSO Animal Control, and Police Service Technicians working outside of the Police Department building. The Department will provide a high quality bullet resistant vest (flak jacket) for those positions identified by the department requiring such equipment.
Bullet Resistant Vest. The City will provide the first bullet resistant vest to newly hired officers. The vest will be threat level IIIA using the NIJ standards at the time of purchase. When the vest expires according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the City will provide a new vest of equal threat level protection. The City will continue to replace vests as they expire throughout the time the officer is employed by the City.

Parental leave may extend up to six (6) months, including time covered by the family medical leave, during the first year after the child's birth or placement. Leave beyond the period covered by family medical leave and pregnancy disability may only be denied by the Employer due to operational necessity. Such denial may be grieved beginning at the top internal step of the grievance procedure in Article 30.

  • Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.

  • Family Illness Leave An employee will be granted leave of absence for up to five (5) days per year without loss of pay or benefits for family illness. Additional family illness leave may be granted by the employer.
