Bus/Van Drivers Work Day/Work Year. Bus drivers shall be paid one and one-half (1 ½) hours for a morning or afternoon run. The above payment includes the pre-trip, post-trip check of the bus, and refueling. Should bus drivers have to travel to refuel, they will be paid for up to (3) three hours per week at the extra-trip pay rate. Changes in length of routes or route assignments from year-to-year shall not be deemed a reduction-in-force unless there is a reduction in pay. All trips separate from a regular am/pm and PreK route are considered extra-trips. Extra Trips include the following: BACC, Special Education Routes, Bus/Van drivers, Field Trips and the Activity Routes.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Day Work The Company shall structure the Project Working Hours to include one (1) half-hour rest break to be taken without deduction of pay by Employees working the Project Working Hours on any day (Monday to Saturday inclusive).
