Business, Professional, and Occupational License Requirement. All firms or individuals located or doing business in Loudoun County are required to be licensed in accordance with the County's "Business, Professional, and Occupational Licensing (BPOL) Tax" Ordinance during the initial term of the Contract or any renewal period. Wholesale and retail merchants without a business location in Loudoun County are exempt from this requirement. Questions concerning the BPOL Tax should be directed to the Office of Commissioner of Revenue, telephone (000) 000-0000.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.

  • Professional Improvement Leave A teacher may be granted leave to be used for the teacher's professional improvement. Professional improvement days may be approved by the superintendent and used for the purpose of:

  • Noncompliance Standards The AGENCY shall be responsible for adhering to all terms and conditions of this Contract. Noncompliance may result in penalties as stipulated in Attachment “C”.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.
