CALAMITY DAY. 1. On days when, District-wide, schools are closed due to public calamity such as snow, floods, etc., the Board shall provide payment for an employee at his/her regular hourly rate. An employee who is required to work on District-wide calamity days because of job responsibilities will be paid an additional amount equal to one and one-half (1-1/2) his/her regular hourly rate for hours worked.
