Common use of Call-Out Pay Clause in Contracts

Call-Out Pay. 20.01 When an Employee is called from home to work at a time outside his normal working hours, he shall be paid the overtime rate for the actual hours worked during such call-out and for the time he spends travelling to and from work; but, nevertheless, is guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours pay or compensatory time off at his regular rate per call-out, except that in the case of Employees required to do snow removal, if such a call-out forms a continuous period with the Employee's normal working hours, no minimum shall apply.
