Camp Information Sample Clauses

Camp Information. All camps require at least one though preferably two certified 1st Aid Officers with current up to date training. The reason why we recommend two trained 1st Aiders is in case one is sick or unable to attend on a camp day and so the camp can still go ahead rather than being cancelled which would be a great disappointment to campers, parents and staff. Please see photo of registration table set up. Having attended many registration days we try to keep things simple and set up everything up for fast processing. Please print off your camp’s Regware database the night before camp for a record of campers and add their names to your Sign in-Sign out sheet so you don’t have to do it the morning of the camp. Parents seem to arrive at exactly the same time so be prepared and if possible have 2 people on xxxx desk (1 to look after paperwork and the 2nd person after paperwork is completed hands out products). In your product box you will be given a list of everything included as well as each child’s name and their selected shirt size upon registration, please ensure to give them their selected shirt size. If you have any left-over products after your camp then please put away if you plan to have a future camp otherwise it would be greatly appreciated if you could please post or deliver back to SCA at your own cost. As parents approach the registration desk greet them then ask for their enrolment form and while you go through it ask the parent to sign their child in (sign in sheet), check for contact details, emergency contact name and number and highlight any medical notes (I usually write the letter “M” and highlight on the top right page of enrolment paperwork so I then remember to debrief all coaches. Also ensure that the Liability form and Consent to Photograph form have been signed, if any paperwork is not brought with them then please ask them to complete again. On registration day please display your nominated 1st Aid Officer’s certificate on the registration table, along with a first Aid kit and plastic container with 4 plastic zip bag inside. Once the campers are all checked off and handed their products please introduce yourself and staff to campers and parents if they are still there and go through the Bathroom Policy Procedures and inform children that they must have their parent/guardian sign them out before leaving. While you debrief staff in regards to any medical issues please ask campers to stretch or sit quietly. Place any medications such as asthma...
