Card Not Present. You acknowledge that PayPal routes and processes transactions, as appropriate, through the Services via the relevant Card Company network(s) as remote (card not present) payments. If you accept a Card that is physically presented to you at the point of sale you acknowledge that the scope of your protection from chargebacks will be limited to the protection that is available for remote payments.
Card Not Present. If you use the 16-digit Card number without presenting the Believe Card (such as for a mail order, telephone, or Internet purchase), the legal effect will be the same as if you had used the Card itself.
Card Not Present. The processing environment where the Payment Device is not physically presented to the Merchant by the Cardholder as the form of payment at the time of sale. Card Not Present includes, but is not limited to, Mail Order, Telephone Order, and Electronic Commerce Transactions.
