Care of Private Property. Reasonable care shall be used by the Contractor’s employees in handling all privately owned collection containers and enclosures, and all damage caused by the negligence or carelessness of the Contractor’s employees shall be promptly adjusted with the owner thereof.
Care of Private Property. Contractor shall use due care when handling Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, and Compostable Materials Containers. Containers shall not be thrown from trucks, roughly handled, damaged or broken. Containers shall be returned to the collection point upright, with lids properly closed. Contractor shall ensure that its employees close all gates opened by them in making collections, unless otherwise directed by the Customer, and avoid crossing landscaped areas and climbing or jumping over xxxxxx and fences. City will refer complaints about damage to private property, including common areas in common-area subdivisions, to Contractor. Contractor shall promptly repair, or arrange for the repair of, all damage to private property caused by its employees within ten (10) days of the complaint being received.
