Common use of Carpet Cleaning Clause in Contracts

Carpet Cleaning. In the event of excessive wear and tear, pets or smoking residue, carpeted areas are to be professionally (not to include typical grocery store type rental units) cleaned at the lessee's expense upon the termination of the lease agreement. A paid receipt for such service shall be required. Carpet cleaning is provided free of charge to Tenant(s) prior to occupancy. In exchange for this service, Landlord requests that Tenant(s) arrange and pay for professional carpet cleaning at the end of the lease term.
