CASH BENEFIT FOR NON-USE OF PERSONAL AND SICK LEAVE. A unit member who does not use any personal leave or sick leave during a given nine-week grading period will receive a cash benefit (s) as listed below. A cash benefit for perfect attendance for the first nine (9) weeks shall be one-hundred dollars ($100.00). A cash benefit for perfect attendance for the second nine (9) weeks shall be one-hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125.00). A cash benefit for perfect attendance for the third nine (9) weeks shall be one-hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00). A cash benefit for perfect attendance for the fourth nine (9) weeks shall be one-hundred and seventy-five dollars ($175.00). This bonus shall be paid on the second pay following the completion of the nine (9) weeks. For the purposes of the cash benefit the following shall not be considered usage: Association leave, professional leave or staff development days nor shall donations to the sick leave bank or conversion of personal days be considered usage.

  • Pension Contributions While on Short Term Disability Contributions for OMERS Plan Members When an employee/plan member is on short-term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OMERS contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.
