Use of Personal Automobile. 7.1. Employees required by the University to use their personal automobile for travel between job locations during their work schedule shall receive mileage reimbursement at a rate in accordance with University policy.
Use of Personal Automobile. A. Effective upon the execution date of this Agreement, unit members who use their personal automobile for assigned non-campus University business shall receive reimbursement by the University as follows:
1. For the first 8,000 miles in the fiscal year, the unit member will receive mileage payments equal to the rate paid by the State of Maine.
2. For all miles in excess of 8,000 the unit member shall receive the rate approved by the Internal Revenue Service.
3. For the life of this agreement, unit members may receive reimbursement of an additional five cents (5¢) per mile if they use their personal vehicle to carpool with other employees(s). The unit member claiming the additional reimbursement shall be required to certify in writing the names of passenger(s).
4. The University shall take steps to publicize and make unit members aware of the carpool options.
B. Parking fees shall not exceed the following amounts: UM USM UMPI $35 $35 $10 Funds collected shall be utilized for the support of the parking program. Fees at other campuses shall remain unchanged. If during the term of this Agreement any University receives a recommendation to increase parking fees, written notice will be provided to AFUM. If AFUM chooses to negotiate this matter, it shall provide a written request.
Use of Personal Automobile. Nothing in this Article 12 will be construed to imply an obligation on any employee to use their own automobile for deadheading.
Use of Personal Automobile. When travelling away from the normal work location, and when no College vehicle is available, employees may claim reimbursement at the rate of $0.36 per kilometer.
Use of Personal Automobile. A. Unit members who use their personal automobiles for assigned non-campus University business shall receive reimbursement by the University at the same rate as paid by the State of Maine. If during the term of this Agreement, the official University or State of Maine mileage rates are increased, or if a higher rate is implemented for any group of University employees, the new rate shall be implemented for unit members.
B. This reimbursement shall be calculated from the campus or the unit member's residence, which ever distance is closer, to the assigned non-campus location. To be eligible for reimbursement, the round trip distance must exceed thirty (30) miles. All claims shall be submitted on forms and at intervals as required by the appropriate administrator.
C. Effective Fall Semester 1998 and for the term of this Agreement parking fees for unit members shall not exceed the following amounts for the academic year: Funds collected shall be utilized for the support of the parking programs.

The District agrees to provide excess personal liability and property damage insurance to protect employees in the event the employees are required to use their personal vehicles on District business. Employees using their personal vehicles must possess a valid California Driver License and must carry liability insurance as provided by the California Financial Responsibility Act. Proof of Driver License and liability insurance may be required by the District.

The Board will purchase excess liability insurance to cover employees voluntarily transporting students in their car to and from Board authorized activities approved by an administrator. Insurance will be a minimum of $300,000 per person bodily injury and property damage.
B. Bargaining unit members will obtain the permission of the Superintendent prior to using their personal vehicle. Travel shall be reimbursed in accordance with the IRS mileage rate for use of their personal vehicle.
Use of Personal Automobile. No xxxxxxx shall be required to use their personal automobile to transport the Employer's tools or materials.
