Cash out of Long Service Leave. a) An employee may by agreement with their Employer, cash out any portion of an entitlement to long service leave. b) Where an employee cashes out any portion of an entitlement to long service leave in accordance with this clause, the entitlement accessed is excised for the purpose of continuous service. c) Employees should seek financial advice at their own cost with regard to the effects on taxable income and/or superannuation arrangements prior to making a request for cashing out of long service leave.
