Catastrophe Deployment. Vendor will be required to provide the requested number of Committed Adjusters to fill the work assignments during a Catastrophe Deployment. If a Catastrophe Deployment request is made by Citizens and such a request is for Adjusters in excess of Vendor’s Committed Adjuster Total, then Vendor will exercise its best efforts to fill the work assignment in excess of the Committed Adjuster Total. Catastrophe Deployment may include deployment of Adjusters already deployed pursuant to Section 5.4.2. Once the Deployment Notification has been issued by Citizens, Vendor shall: 5.4.3.1. reply to Citizens’ communications regarding deployment within one (1) hour of receipt of the Deployment Notification;

Catastrophe Deployment. Citizens may require Catastrophe Deployment of Adjusters. Once a Catastrophe Deployment Notification has been issued by Citizens, Vendor shall: a. reply to Citizens’ communications regarding deployment within one (1) hour of receipt of the Deployment Notification (electronically or via other method of communication approved by Citizens); b. within eight (8) hours of receipt of Deployment Notification, provide Citizens (electronically or via alternative method designated by Citizens) a complete list of the Vendor’s Adjusters that will be deployed to Citizens' designated location. Unless otherwise required by Citizens, this must include the Adjusters deployed to Citizens on Pre-Catastrophe Deployment in accordance with the requirements above; c. ensure that all deployed Adjusters arrive at the specified location within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of Deployment Notification unless another timeframe is agreed to by the Parties in writing; and, d. ensure that all deployed Adjusters and required management and administrative support staff are available to provide Services up to seven (7) days per week, twelve (12) hours per day, including during non-Business Hours and Holidays;

Citizens may require a Pre-Catastrophe Deployment or a Catastrophe Deployment at Citizens' sole discretion. The deployment notification will specify the start date for the deployment. If a Pre-Catastrophe Deployment or Catastrophe Deployment request is for Adjusters in excess of Vendor’s Committed Adjuster Total, then Vendor will exercise its best efforts to fill the work assignment in excess of the Committed Adjuster Total. Pre-Catastrophe Deployment or Catastrophe Deployment may include deployment of Adjusters already deployed pursuant to Section 5.4.2.

Once the Deployment Notification has been issued by Citizens, Vendor shall: 5.4.3.1. reply to Citizens’ communications regarding deployment within one (1) hour of receipt of the Deployment Notification; 5.4.3.2. within eight (8) hours of receipt of Deployment Notification, provide Citizens (electronically, or via an alternative method designated by Citizens) a complete list of the names of Adjusters that will be deployed as requested; 5.4.3.3. within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of the Deployment Notification, ensure that all Adjusters are performing Services as described herein, unless another timeframe is agreed to by the Parties in writing 5.4.3.4. within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of the Deployment Notification, have Vendor’s Office Space fully equipped and ready in accordance with Section 3.4 of this Agreement; 5.4.3.5. ensure all deployed Adjusters will arrive at Vendor’s Office Space within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of the Deployment Notification unless another timeframe is agreed to by the Parties in writing; and, 5.4.3.6. ensure that all deployed Adjusters and required management and administrative support staff are available to work up to seven (7) days per week, twelve (12) hours per day, including during non-Business Hours and holidays.

  • Sabotage Sabotage is of concern to all Parties involved on any work site and may affect safety, and therefore both the physical and mental well being of all persons on site. The Parties to this Agreement will not tolerate sabotage, and will ensure that any person/s responsible for such action is immediately dismissed. It is accepted that the relevant authorities may have to be notified, and provisions of the OH&S Act implemented.

  • Catastrophic Leave The County will administer a Catastrophic Leave procedure designed to permit individual donations of annual leave, vacation, healthcare leave (8 hours maximum per fiscal year), compensatory and/or PIP leave time to an employee who is required to be on an extended unpaid leave due to a catastrophic medical condition or other serious circumstances.

  • Catastrophic Leave Bank The City agrees to establish a Catastrophic Leave Bank to assist employees who have exhausted accrued leave time due to a serious or catastrophic illness or injury. The Catastrophic Leave Bank (CLB) will allow the bargaining unit employees to donate time to affected employees within and outside the unit, so that he/she can remain in a paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury or condition. This donated time will be placed in a CLB and drawn down from the CLB by the eligible employee. Eligibility To be eligible for this benefit, the receiving employee must: 1) Be a regular full time employee, 2) Have sustained or have an immediate family member who has sustained a life threatening or debilitating illness, injury or condition which may require confirmation by a physician, 3) Have exhausted all accumulated paid leave including vacation, holiday, sick leave, and/or compensatory time off, 4) Be unable to return to work for at least 30 days or in the case of the condition affecting the immediate family member, that member must be in need of prolonged and significant personal care; and 5) Conformed with the requirements of the Family Medical Leave Act and/or Worker's Compensation.

  • Disaster Services In the event of a local, state, or federal emergency, including natural, man-made, criminal, terrorist, and/or bioterrorism events, declared as a state disaster by the Governor, or a federal disaster declared by the appropriate federal official, Grantee may be called upon to assist the System Agency in providing the following services: i. Community evacuation; ii. Health and medical assistance; iii. Assessment of health and medical needs; iv. Health surveillance; v. Medical care personnel; vi. Health and medical equipment and supplies; vii. Patient evacuation; viii. In-hospital care and hospital facility status; ix. Food, drug and medical device safety; x. Worker health and safety; xi. Mental health and substance abuse; xii. Public health information; xiii. Vector control and veterinary services; and xiv. Victim identification and mortuary services.

  • Catastrophic Leave Program Leave credits, as defined below, may be transferred from one (1) or more employees to another employee, on an hour-for-hour basis, in accordance with departmental policies upon the request of both the receiving employee and the transferring employee and upon approval of the employee's appointing authority, under the following conditions: A. The receiving employee is required to be absent from work due to injury or the prolonged illness of the employee, employee's spouse, registered domestic partner, a domestic partner listed on an “Affidavit for Enrollment of Domestic Partners,” submitted to employee benefits, parent or child, has exhausted all earned leave credits, including but not limited to sick leave, compensatory time, holiday credits and disability leave and is therefore facing financial hardship. B. The transfers must be for a minimum of four (4) hours and in whole hour increments thereafter. C. Transfers shall be allowed to cross-departmental lines in accordance with the policies of the receiving department. D. The total maximum leave credits received by an employee shall normally not exceed five hundred twenty (520) hours; however, if approved by his/her appointing authority, the total leave credits may be up to one thousand forty (1,040) hours. Total leave credits in excess of one thousand forty (1,040) hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the appointing authority subject to the approval of the Chief Administrative Officer. E. The transfers are irrevocable, and will be indistinguishable from other leave credits belonging to the receiving employee. Transfers will be subject to all taxes required by law. F. Leave credits that may be transferred under this program are defined as the transferring employee’s vacation credits or up to twenty-four (24) hours of sick leave per fiscal year. G. Transfers shall be administered according to the rules and regulations of the Auditor and Controller, and made on a form prescribed by the Auditor and Controller. Approvals of the receiving and donating employee, the donating employee's appointing authority and the receiving employee's appointing authority (in the case of an interdepartmental transfer) will be provided for on such form. H. This program is not subject to the Grievance Procedure of this Agreement.

  • Disaster In the event the leased premises are destroyed or injured by fire, earthquake or other casualty so as to render the premises unfit for occupancy, and the Lessor(s) neglects and/or refuses to restore said premises to their former condition, then the Lessee may terminate this Lease and shall be reimbursed for any unearned rent that has been paid. In the event said premises are partially destroyed by any of the aforesaid means, the rent herein agreed to be paid shall be abated from the time of occurrence of such destruction or injury until the premises are again restored to their former condition, and any rent paid by the Lessee during the period of abatement shall be credited upon the next installment(s) of rent to be paid. It is understood that the terms "abated" and "abatement" mean a pro rata reduction of area unsuitable for occupancy due to casualty loss in relation to the total rented area.
