Catastrophic Illness or Injury Leave. At the discretion of the District, this section will sunset and become null and void ninety (90) days after the District serves notice upon the AFT of its intent to do so. Any catastrophic illness donation which is in process at the time of termination of this Article will be completed. Unit members shall be permitted to contribute up to a maximum of forty (40) hours of accumulated full-pay sick leave (a minimum of eight [8] hours and in hour increments thereafter) per fiscal year to another unit member within the Unit.
