Common use of Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank Clause in Contracts

Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank. 18.4.1 The Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank shall be created to assist bargaining unit members who have a long term illness or disability as verified by a physician and who have exhausted their accumulated sick leave. Only individuals who have contributed to the Bank shall be eligible to draw from the Bank.

Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank. 18.4.1 12.5.1 The Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank (The Bank) shall be created to assist bargaining unit members employees and their legal dependent(s) residing in their household, who have a long long-term illness or disability that incapacitates the unit member for more than ten (10) consecutive days, as verified by a physician (physician note must be on file in HR) and who have exhausted their accumulated sick leave. Participation is on a voluntary basis. Only individuals who have contributed to the Bank shall be eligible to draw from the Bank.
