Common use of Change of Scheduled Shift Time Clause in Contracts

Change of Scheduled Shift Time. When the scheduled shift time of a position with fixed hours changes by more than two (2) hours on a regular basis, or where there is a change in shift between days and afternoons (i.e. 11:00 am) on a regular basis, then a new position shall result. The new position will be subject to the posting procedure and the lay-off provisions shall apply to the employee affected.
