CHAPERONES. Buses on trips shall have teachers or an adult chaperone traveling with the students. Teachers, chaperones, and athletic coaches are responsible for conduct of students while they are on the bus. The supervising adult(s) will support and assist drivers in maintaining order and discipline on the bus. Any unsafe or hazardous conduct reported by the driver to the supervising adult(s) shall be corrected as soon as possible.
CHAPERONES a. The coach or teacher going on the trip shall be responsible for having directions to the destination.
CHAPERONES. Teachers who want to serve as a chaperone for a school sponsored/related event, must submit a request to serve as a chaperone no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date of the event to the Superintendent, with an estimate of all costs, i.e. meals, lodging, mileage. The Superintendent, in his discretion, may approve or deny the request. If approved, the teacher will submit receipts to verify the expenses and will be reimbursed according with District procedures.

CHAPERONES. Any individual (parent, stepparent, legal guardian, grandparent, relative) who wishes to attend an overnight or daytime field trip must adhere to the procedures outlined in the district Volunteer Handbook. Background check and fingerprinting are required. Please plan to complete this process by the end of October. Please see the front office staff if you have questions. WITHDRAWAL/TRANSFER FROM SCHOOL Please notify the school office in writing or by telephone at least two days prior to the student’s last attendance day. The records secretary will then prepare a withdrawal form for the parents to sign and take to the new school. All school materials loaned to the student must be returned. Items that are lost or damaged must be paid for by the parents before school records will be forwarded to the new school.

CHAPERONES. A. The Board shall post all scheduled events for the forthcoming school year at the beginning of the school year. In the event there is an unscheduled event, the Board shall post such event at least two (2) weeks prior to such event. Employees shall have an opportunity to volunteer to act as chaperones for such events. Employees shall declare their availability to act as chaperones for such events at least two (2) weeks prior to a scheduled event and at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to an unscheduled event. In the event there are more persons volunteering than are needed, selection shall be on a time priority basis; that is, the employees who have first volunteered shall be selected. If there are insufficient volunteers, or in the event of an emergency, the Board will go to an alphabetical list of employees, but shall not select an employee who has already acted as a chaperone or who has volunteered to act as one during the relevant school year. Should certificated staff be requested to chaperone an event, non certificated staff may be passed over on the alphabetical list. Also, building assignment may be used to determine appropriate chaperone assignments. In the event an employee volunteers or is selected to act as a chaperone and shows up for duty but does not perform such duty through no fault of such employee, such employee shall receive one-half (½) of the designated stipend.
CHAPERONES. Chaperones for all school-sponsored activities including Music Teacher Escort-All County & State will be paid the rate of $23.93 for the first hour for the term of this Agreement and $15.39 per hour for every hour thereafter for the term of this Agreement. The School Superintendent will determine the number of chaperones needed for each school-sponsored activity at which supervision is required. It is understood that an advisor shall attend all activities of his club, class organization without remuneration beyond that provided in Section 16.
CHAPERONES. NAIS appreciates your willingness to serve as an SDLC Chaperone. You are carrying out this function as an employee and representative of the School. In this role to support SDLC and its Student Participants, you will act as a school trip/travel chaperone and resource to the Student Participants as well as a liaison between NAIS and the students. Please note that Xxxxxxxxxx will not be permitted to attend SDLC sessions. NAIS will develop instructions and guidance in advance of and during the conference; it is the Chaperone’s responsibility to review all such information related to the conference. If you have any questions about this Agreement, please contact your School, which can provide you with NAIS contact information as necessary. As an SDLC Chaperone, you are responsible for yourself and your School’s Student Participants. As a representative and employee of your School, your School’s chaperone/travel policies apply. This document, along with the SDLC Student Handbook, is intended to supplement any such policies. NAIS endeavors to create a safe, productive, and respectful environment, and it relies on Chaperones to make decisions in line with that goal. Here are a few of the expectations for SDLC: • Attend, view, read, or otherwise participate in any pre-event orientation sessions or other information sessions or required or requested reading provided or organized by your School or NAIS or its representatives. • Read and agree to adhere to and support any applicable policies promulgated by your School or NAIS for this program, including but not limited to the SDLC Student Handbook. • Before the conference, provide NAIS, or confirm that your School has provided NAIS, with your contact information and that of your emergency contact. • Understand and manage your Student Participants’ schedules. • Be responsible for the whereabouts and needs of your Student Participants. Be available to them at all times. • Carry valid photo-identification on your person at all times (NAIS/SDLC staff reserve the right to require photo identification when Chaperones retrieve or are seen with Student Participants). • Comport yourself in keeping with the spirit of the conference and the conduct codes outlined in the SDLC Student Handbook. This includes but is not limited to: o engaging with others in a respectful manner; o reporting inappropriate conduct to NAIS, whether you witness or otherwise learn about it (including but not limited to any acts that may constitutebullyin...
