Charge Nurse Pay. Any nurse assigned as a charge nurse shall receive a premium of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour.

A RN2 who is assigned in writing Charge Nurse responsibility by the Nurse Manager or designee for an organized unit for a period of one (1) or more hours shall receive Charge Nurse premium pay for all such hours worked. Charge nurse premium shall be $2.50 per hour. "Organized unit" shall be defined by the Medical Center. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, all RNs shall be eligible to ask for training as charge nurse. If a nurse is not granted training, the nurse will receive a written explanation. The Charge Nurse will receive appropriate orientation prior to being assigned Charge Nurse responsibilities. (The content of such orientation for each unit shall be reviewed through the Joint Conference Committee.)
Charge Nurse Pay. Nurses meeting the definition of Charge Nurse in Article 45.13 shall receive charge nurse pay.
Charge Nurse Pay. Effective with the first full pay period beginning after ratification of this Agreement, any nurse assigned by the Department Director/Manager or designee as a Charge Nurse shall receive a premium of two dollars and eighty-five cents ($2.85) per hour worked.

Registered Nurses designated as Charge Nurses will receive a differential of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour over their normal hourly rate for all hours worked as Charge Nurse. Charge pay is applicable to hours actually worked in a charge responsibility and shall be part of the normal rate only for such hours.
Charge Nurse Pay. 307. Charge Nurses are accountable to the Nurse Manager (2322 Head Nurse) or appropriate supervisor from the Nursing Department for the assumption of specific leadership responsibilities and patient care duties, as assigned. Charge Nurses shall not be required to write annual performance evaluations. 308. At SFGH and LHH, such assignments shall be made for P.M., night, and weekend shifts when no Head Nurse is present on the unit. 309. Any registered nurse assigned to do work as a Charge Nurse for four (4) hours or more in a day shall be paid a premium of 5% of his/her base hourly rate above the base hourly rate of pay for such hours actually assigned.
Charge Nurse Pay. 330. Charge Nurses are accountable to the Nurse Manager (class 2322) or appropriate supervisor from the Nursing Department for the assumption of specific leadership responsibilities and patient care duties, as assigned. Charge Nurses shall be required to monitor, correct and report on the clinical knowledge and competency of all nursing staff, and participate in the preparation of annual performance evaluations. Completion and execution of the performance evaluation remain the responsibility of the Nurse Managers.
Charge Nurse Pay. An employee designated as Charge Nurse shall be paid a premium of ninety (90) cents per hour in addition to their regular rate of pay.
Charge Nurse Pay. In the absence of a Registered Nurse Supervisor, one (1) Registered Nurse, per scheduled shift, shall be designated as “Charge Nurse.” The employee designated as the Charge Nurse for that shift shall receive an additional $2.50 per hour, in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay, for each hour worked during the shift as a Charge Nurse.
