Compensated Hours. “Compensated Hours” are actual hours worked by an employee. It also includes paid time not worked: PTO and Extended-Illness Time (EIT). Low census hours shall count for purposes of benefits accrual. Compensated hours do not include standby hours or hours on unpaid leave.
Compensated Hours. “Compensated hours” are hours worked by a nurse that are paid at the normal rate of pay or at overtime. It also includes time not worked that is paid at regular pay, including PTO, EIT, and paid leaves of absence specified in Article 15. Compensated hours do not
Compensated Hours. Compensated hours, for the purposes of accruing benefits, will include all hours paid by the Employer, except that overtime hours shall be calculated on actual hours worked.

Compensated Hours. A technologist working a permanent Evening or Night shift (all regularly scheduled shifts are Evening or Night shifts) will receive shift differential for all compensated hours.

Compensated Hours. A part-time nurse may be credited with up to eighty (80) compensated hours per two (2) week payroll period toward eligibility for and accumulation of benefits provided by this Contract, and as hours for which length of service increments accrue. Compensated hours shall include all hours for which a nurse is paid except off-premise on-call hours up to eighty (80) hours.
Compensated Hours. Any work assignment, prep work, required training, job-specific orientation, required meetings, required conferences, and tutee no-shows (including required duties that occur outside of the academic term) shall be considered time worked.
Compensated Hours. For purposes of this Agreement and method of computing wage increments, benefits, and conditions of employment herein, a year shall be defined as 1872 hours compensated or anniversary date, whichever is later. Compensated hours are defined as PTO, holiday, paid leave of absence, low census hours and time worked exclusive of standby hours, PTO cash out paid, and overtime hours paid.
