Common use of Childbirth Leave Clause in Contracts

Childbirth Leave. Childbirth leave shall consist of two (2) days’ paid leave at the time of birth of an employee’s child. A regular employee shall be granted necessary time with pay to take their spouse or common law partner to a hospital, return the individual home from hospital or attend the birth of their child. Such leave shall not exceed two (2) days and may be taken in two (2) separate days.
