Maximum Leave. A teacher who is pregnant shall be entitled, upon request, to a leave of absence to begin at any time after the commencement of her pregnancy and to extend through one (1) year following the birth of the child.
Maximum Leave. A teacher who legally adopts a child of any age shall be granted ten (10) days of leave without loss of compensation during the adoptive process. If a teacher, as part of the adoption process, is required to travel outside of the United States and Canada, and that travel cannot be concluded within the ten (10) school days, then that teacher will have an additional five (5) days of leave without loss of compensation during the adoption process. A teacher, who during the term of this contract legally adopts a child under the age of eight (8) years, may also request and shall be granted adoptive leave, without pay, for a period not to exceed one (1) year.
Maximum Leave. (i) No employee can take more than twenty (20) working days of such leave in a calendar year. This limit shall not apply to members of the bargaining committee.
(ii) An employee may take up to an additional twenty (20) days under the provisions of Article 23.01. Such days shall not be subject to the restrictions of Article 23.01 (e).
Maximum Leave. The total amount of leave granted under Article 24.13 and 24.14 shall not exceed a total of ten (10) days per fiscal year.
Maximum Leave. The Employer shall grant leave of absence without pay to members of the Board of Directors of the Institute for the purposes of Institute business on the following basis:
(a) a single absence must not exceed seven (7) days;
(b) there must not be more than four (4) members absent at one time; and
(c) the total of such absences granted to any individual member of the Board of Directors shall net exceed thirty (30) working days in any calendar year. The Employer shall also grant leave of absence with pay to a maximum of four
Maximum Leave. The employee shall be granted a leave of absence for a combined period of not more than 52 weeks under this article plus any additional leave outlined in 18.3(f) and 18.4(b), and 18.5.
Maximum Leave. No employee can take more than ten (10) workdays of such leave in a calendar year.
Maximum Leave. No employee can take more than five (5) working days of such leave in a calendar year.
Maximum Leave. No Teacher shall expect a Voluntary Leave of Absence (Child Care) Leave, including Pregnancy or Parental Leave, for longer than a two-year period.
Maximum Leave. The maximum paid leave granted to a member at a given time is equal to the sum of the accumulated leave from previous contract years, plus the number of accrued days during the current year. A member may petition the Superintendent to advance leave days.
