CIVIC CLUB MEMBERSHIP. The City recognizes the value of having the City Manager participate and be directly involved in local civic clubs and organizations. The City will pay for the reasonable membership fees and/or dues to enable the City Manager to become an active member of such civic clubs and organizations.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • Union Membership Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.

Benefits are term year specific so they can only be used during the current active plan agreement period.   • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • Associate Members An Associate Member is any government or regulatory agency that has an interest in the development of oneM2M Technical Specifications and Technical Reports. The list of the Associate Members will be maintained by the Secretariat and visible to all oneM2M Participants.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Transfer of Membership Interest The Sole Member may Transfer any part or all of its rights and interest (including, but not limited to, its Capital Account) in the Company (each a “Membership Interest”) now owned or hereafter acquired to any Person, and the transferee of such Membership Interest shall become a Member of the Company.
