Claims Manual a. The Contractor shall prepare and maintain a comprehensive claims manual designed to establish measurable, specific, written standards of performance for the operation of the dedicated office/unit. Such performance standards will be specific to the needs of the County and may not be identical to those of other clients of Contractor. A copy of the claims manual shall be provided to the CEO/RM for reference and contract compliance verification.

Claims Manual. The TPA shall process the claims as per claims manual provided by the Insurer. The TPA will abide by the instructions to be given by the Insurer for settlement of claims from time to time.

  • Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual nursing homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • Policy Review Patent Policy and related Procedures shall be reviewed every five (5) years.

  • Policy Grievance Where either Party disputes the general application, interpretation or alleged violation of an article of this Agreement, the dispute shall be discussed initially with the Employer or the Union, as the case may be, within thirty (30) days of the occurrence. Where no satisfactory agreement is reached, either Party may submit the dispute to arbitration, as set out in Article 10.

  • Submitting False Claims; Monetary Penalties The AOC shall be entitled to remedy any false claims, as defined in California Government Code section 12650 et seq., made to the AOC by the Contractor or any Subcontractor under the standards set forth in Government Code section 12650 et seq. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who submits a false claim shall be liable to the AOC for three times the amount of damages that the AOC sustains because of the false claim. A Contractor or Subcontractor who submits a false claim shall also be liable to the AOC for (a) the costs, including attorney fees, of a civil action brought to recover any of those penalties or damages, and (b) a civil penalty of up to $10,000 for each false claim.

  • Claims Review The IRO shall perform the Claims Review annually to cover each of the five Reporting Periods. The IRO shall perform all components of each Claims Review.

  • Grievance Policy The Board recognizes that in the interest of effective personnel management, a grievance procedure is necessary whereby its professional staff members can be assured of a prompt, impartial, and fair hearing on their grievances. Such procedure shall be available to all professional staff members of the bargaining unit; and no reprisals of any kind shall be taken against any professional staff member initiating or participating in the grievance procedure.

  • Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance An employee who wishes to present a grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure, in the manner prescribed in Article 9.4, must do so not later than thirty (30) days after the date:
