Employee Safety A. Any employee who is injured or who is involved in an accident during the course of his/her employment, no matter how slight the injury, shall file an accident report with the designated supervisor, as soon as possible after the injury and prior to the conclusion of the employee's work day, whenever possible. While the initial report may be given orally, it must be followed up within 48 hours with a written report on the First Report of Injury form which shall be submitted to the appropriate administrator/supervisor who shall then submit it to the appropriate Human Resources Department.

Intermittent Employees On the first day of the monthly pay period following completion of each period of 160 hours or 20 days of paid employment, each intermittent employee in the State civil service shall be allowed one (1) day of credit for sick leave with pay. The hours or days worked in excess of 160 hours or 20 days in a monthly pay period shall not be counted or accumulated.
Displaced Employees In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular employees shall be laid-off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and willing to do the work of the employees laid-off.
