The District and Association agree to establish a Joint Classification Committee that supports a clear, transparent process for addressing reclassification requests. The purpose of the committee is to ensure that representatives of the District and the Association participate in the reclassification process and develop a shared understanding of the complexity of the process. Currently the District uses the Xxxxxx model to review classifications in RPTA. The parties agree to discuss any proposed changes to the model. When an employee requests review of his/her position for potential reclassification, the Joint Classification Committee will schedule a meeting to review the request.
