Classifications 6.1 Each Employee is classified as assessed by the Employer as follows:

MATTERS NOT COVERED 35.1 The parties agree that by mutual consent they will consult and negotiate on matters not covered by this Agreement, which are proper subjects for collective bargaining.
JOB CLASSIFICATIONS For the purpose of this Agreement the following classifications will be applicable:
CLASSIFICATIONS AND WAGES 1.1 a) Engineers operating: cranes with a manufacturer’s rating of over 164 to 219 tons capacity. Effective May 1, 2013, the wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 220 to 299 tons capacity shall be One Dollar and Twenty-Five Cents ($1.25) per hour above the applicable rate. The wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 300 to 499 tons capacity shall be Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2.50) per hour above the applicable rate. The wage rate for engineers operating large cranes over 499 tons capacity shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) per hour above the applicable rate. New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification. If the parties cannot reach agreement, at the request of either party, the matter shall be submitted to the arbitration procedure in Article 26 of this Agreement.
Examples of Items/Conditions Not Covered Any gas service lines in excess of 500 feet in length; high pressure gas lines and the high pressure service line which is defined as a natural gas supply line with a pressure rating of 60 psi or greater; natural gas meter including connections; appliances or appliance connectors or burner tips; any gas service line not measuring between ½” and 1 ¼” in diameter; utility meters; any interior gas piping. CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS The University shall classify and/or reclassify all positions in the bargaining unit according to the nature and difficulty of duties assigned to and performed by the employee based on a current and accurate job description and shall assign to each position in the bargaining unit a classification title, number, and salary range. An employee new to his/her position will receive a copy of his/her job description upon hire. The appropriate administrator/supervisor will review the description with the employee. Materials used in determining classifications and reclassifications, such as class specifications and reclassification interpretation manuals, shall be readily available to the Union and employees on request.

COVERED NOT COVERED All components and parts of well pump utilized as a source of water to the home. Above or underground piping, cable or electrical lines leading to or from the well pump, including those that are located within the well casing, well casings, pressure switches not located on the pump, holding, storage or pressure tanks, booster pumps, re-drilling of xxxxx, well pump and all well pump components for geothermal and/or water source heat pumps. NOTE: We will pay up to $1,500 per Agreement term for access, diagnosis and repair or replacement.
