Classroom Visitation. The employer recognizes the desirability of having patrons of the District be familiar with the total educational program. It further recognizes that frequent or unannounced interruptions to the classroom can be detrimental to the educational process. To provide patrons the opportunity to visit classrooms with the least interruption to the teaching process, the following guidelines are set forth: A. All visitors to a school shall obtain the approval of the building administration in advance of the visitation. B. If the visit is to a classroom, the time shall be arranged only after the building administration has conferred with the employee involved. C. The employee shall have the opportunity to confer with the classroom observer before and/or after the observation.
