Clause VII: Transportation. Local Transportation and definition of local resident. On all jobs situated within fifty (50) kilometres of the centre of any city, town or village in which an employee is residing or accommodates, such employee will travel daily to and from such jobs at no cost to the Employer. A local resident shall be defined as an employee who has resided at a permanent address within one hundred (100) kilometers by the shortest road route for a period of sixty (60) days prior to the commencement of the job. On all jobs situated beyond fifty (50) kilometers from the centre of any city, town or village in which the employee resides or is being accommodated, such employee shall receive forty- four (44¢) per kilometers each way as a daily travel allowance from zero (0) kilometers up to fifty (50) kilometers, it is agreed and understood that employees shall not be required to use their vehicles or new grade construction. On all jobs beyond fifty (50) kilometers, free room and board or a living-out allowance (determined at either pre-job or pre-tender meeting) shall be paid.

  • Air Transportation In accordance with the standard provision entitled International Air Transportation, any international travel requires prior written approval from the FHI360 contracts administrator.

  • Transportation Charges The cost of transporting Employees and Material necessary for the Mining Operations.

  • Public Transportation Taxi or airport limousine services may be considered when traveling in and around cities or to and from airports when less expensive means of transportation are unavailable or impractical. The actual fare plus a reasonable tip (15-18%) are reimbursable. In the case of a free hotel shuttle to the airport, tips are included in the per diem rates and will not be reimbursed separately.

  • Initial Payment - Transportation Charge Minimum Component Payments by the Agency under the minimum operation, maintenance, power, and replacement component of the Transportation Charge shall commence for each aqueduct reach in the year following the year in which construction of that reach is completed.

  • Non-Emergency Transportation Routine medical transportation to and from Medicaid-covered scheduled medical appointments is covered by the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker Medicaid program. This includes transportation via multi-passenger van services and common carriers such as public railways, buses, cabs, airlines, ambulance as appropriate, and private vehicle transportation by individuals. The NEMT broker must approve ambulance, multi-passenger van services, and transportation by common carriers. The MCO must inform enrollees of how to access non-emergency transportation as appropriate.

  • Transportation Services i) In the event that transportation services for a student served by CONTRACTOR pursuant to an Individual Services Agreement are to be provided by a party other than CONTRACTOR or the LEA or its transportation providers, such services shall be reflected in a separate agreement signed by the parties hereto, and provided to the LEA and SELPA Director by the CONTRACTOR. Except as provided below, CONTRACTOR shall compensate the transportation provider directly for such services, and shall charge the LEA for such services at the actual and reasonable rates billed by the transportation provider, plus a ten percent (.10) administrative fee, unless a “flat rate” is provided in the transportation contract. In the event that the transportation provider notifies the LEA or SELPA Director that CONTRACTOR is more than 90 days behind in payment for transportation services, LEA shall have the right, in its sole and exclusive discretion, but not the obligation, to make payment for such services directly to the transportation provider, and to deduct such payments from any sums owed to CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Master Contract and any Individual Services Agreement between the parties. In the event that the LEA makes direct payment of the transportation provider’s charges, it shall be entitled to withhold both the transportation charges themselves and such additional amount as shall be reasonably necessary to compensate the LEA for the staff and other costs incurred in making direct payment of those charges. The remedies provided to the LEA pursuant to this Paragraph shall not be exclusive. CONTRACTOR shall not include transportation through the use of services or equipment owned, leased or contracted through the LEA unless expressly provided in the Individual Services Agreement for the student transported.
