Clerical Employees. a. With the exception of the day following Thanksgiving, clerical employees who are required to work on a regular University holiday will be compensated at one and one- half (1 1/2) times their basic straight-time hourly rate; provided, that if a regular University holiday falls on an employee's regularly scheduled day off and the employee is required to work, the employee will be compensated at two (2) times the basic straight-time hourly rate for the hours actually worked. In addition, employees required to work on regular University holidays will be given equivalent time off, with pay, within thirty (30) days or after the holiday, or pay in lieu of time off.
