Common use of Climatic & Isolation Allowance Clause in Contracts

Climatic & Isolation Allowance. (a) This clause shall not apply to employees unless they were entitled to the allowance immediately prior to the date of approval of this agreement. (b) (i) Subject to sub-clause 29.9(c) persons employed in organisations in places situated upon or to the west of a line drawn as herein specified shall be paid the allowance set out in Allowances Item #23 in addition to the salary to which they are otherwise entitled.
