Common use of CNO/RNAO LEAVES Clause in Contracts

CNO/RNAO LEAVES. (a) Professional leave without pay will be granted consistent with the requirements of the Employer to full-time and regular part-time nurses who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses. Such request shall not be unreasonably denied. (b) Professional leave without pay will be granted consistent with the requirements of the Employer to full-time and regular part-time nurses who are elected to or appointed to the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meeting of the board or its provincial committees. Such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
