Co-Occurring Disorders a. Contractor will continue participation as a Change Agent and will attend and participate in all of the activities to effect the changes necessary to maintain and enhance Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) capability. b. Based on contractor self-assessment utilizing the COMPASS, (Comorbidity Program Audit and Self-Survey for Behavioral Health Services) contractor will continue implementation of COMPASS action plan. Contractor will provide quarterly progress on implementation.

Co-Occurring Disorders. For clients who have co-occurring disorders (have a significant mental health disorder co-occurring with a substance use disorder), screening is required (see Section 7.2) in addition to coordination of services with Placer County Mental Health (Adult System of Care/ASOC) staff or other psychiatric or mental health support as necessary. Programs will address the specific needs of this population. Specialized treatment issues include specific screening techniques, ability to address both issues in the treatment plan, coordination with other services as appropriate, accommodation of the mental health disability as appropriate, style of interventions and use of group and individual counseling sessions. CONTRACTOR of services to clients with co-occurring disorders shall: 12.1 Provide appropriate services in keeping with the County Community Co-Occuring Disorders (COD)

(In this context, “discrimination” shall be defined as being biased against or treating clients differently solely on the basis of a mental health condition.) 14.3. Participate in COUNTY workforce development meetings and training classes to improve COD competence. DRAFT 14.4. CONTRACTOR will maintain policies or procedures/protocols that impact co-occurring disorder (COD) clients (e.g.: policies regarding psychotropic medications, diagnoses, or clinical issues that impact access to treatment, discharge policies, etc.) and make updates or changes as appropriate. CONTRACTOR will make these policies or procedures/protocols available to COUNTY during audits or upon request.
Co-Occurring Disorders. CONTRACTOR shall provide rehabilitative and recovery 31 services to Participants with co-occurring disorders and ensure that such services address the 32 relationship between the two diagnoses throughout treatment. Persons having a concurrent diagnosis of 33 mental illness will be served in accordance with Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment 34 Block Grant Program requirements and COUNTY guidelines.

  • Reports of unusual occurrence The Contractor shall, during the Maintenance Period, prior to the close of each day, send to the Authority and the Authority’s Engineer, by facsimile or e- mail, a report stating accidents and unusual occurrences on the Project Highway relating to the safety and security of the Users and Project Highway. A monthly summary of such reports shall also be sent within 3 (three) business days of the closing of month. For the purposes of this Clause 15.4, accidents and unusual occurrences on the Project Highway shall include: (a) accident, death or severe injury to any person; (b) damaged or dislodged fixed equipment; (c) flooding of Project Highway; and (d) any other unusual occurrence.

  • Physical/Occupational Therapy This plan covers physical and occupational therapy when: • ordered by a physician; • received from a licensed physical or occupational therapist; • a program is implemented to provide habilitative or rehabilitative services. See Autism Services when physical therapy and occupational therapy services are rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. The amount you pay and any benefit limit will be the same whether the services are provided for habilitative or rehabilitative purposes.
