COACHES COMMITTEE. Section 1. For purposes of addressing areas of common concern and interest of the COACHES to appropriate UNIVERSITY officials and/or organizations, the COACHES at each UNIVERSITY shall organize themselves into a committee. Failure by the COACHES to establish a committee as provided for herein shall not be subject to the grievance and arbitration procedure. This committee may elect a chairperson and determine how it will organize itself in order to conduct business. The establishment of this committee does not imply a role in administering the athletic program; rather it is to address the concerns of the COACHES as a group. Examples of these areas of concern include, but are not limited to: office space, equipment and secretarial/support staff, evaluation procedures, representation of COACHES in appropriate UNIVERSITY-wide committees (e.g., parking, advising, financial aid, facilities, calendar, health and safety, search committee), liaison with faculty, administration, professional development and long-range planning.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.01 A Liaison Committee shall be established which shall meet on an informal basis at the call of any of the parties signatory hereto, to discuss matters of mutual interest pertaining to the Project and/or this Agreement, with the objective of promoting and maintaining beneficial relations and cooperation between the parties, and of ensuring the achievement of the purposes of this Agreement. The Liaison will meet at least twice per year.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Scheduling Committee (a) The parties agree to the formation of a Scheduling Committee to discuss and assist in resolving scheduling issues.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.

  • Consultative Committee 26.1 The parties agree to establish a consultative committee to assist the parties improve productivity, efficiency and to provide for the effective involvement of employees in decision making processes. The committee will consist of an equal number of company and elected employee representatives.
