Athletic Program. Community School of Naples offers a comprehensive athletic program with over twenty-five sports teams for both male and female Upper School students. At all times, Community School of Naples adheres to the policies and procedures of the Florida High School Athletic Association. The Athletic Department is committed to being an integral part of the overall educational experience offered by the school. We strive to develop mature, moral, confident, independent thinkers through sports participation. We will strive to provide every student-athlete an environment to achieve athletic success, while laying the foundation for success in life. Varsity teams offer students the opportunity to compete at the district, regional and state level. Playing a varsity sport is a significant commitment, and requires dedication during the season and in the off-season. The junior varsity level gives the athlete the opportunity to refine his/her fundamental skills and learn the more complex tactics and strategies in preparation for future varsity play. CSN participates in leagues that are competitive and not recreational in nature. Community School of Naples does not guarantee playing time at the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. Coaches at all levels may need to make team selections in order to maintain manageable numbers for both practices and games. Participation on any CSN athletic team is a distinct privilege to be earned, not a universal right. This participation carries obligations with respect to conduct, sportsmanship and academic performance. The Athletic Office requires a copy of a student's birth certificate as well as an updated physical form, parental consent form, and concussion and heat related illnesses information and release forms before the student can participate in the athletic programs.
