Common use of Cold Weather Clause in Contracts

Cold Weather. With the cooperation of employees, the Company will attempt to maintain shop temperatures above ten degrees Centigrade (10° C). (a) The Company agrees not to require its employees to perform outside repair work in temperatures below minus thirty degrees centigrade (-30°), unless adequate protection and some form of heat is provided. Tarpaulins, windbreaks, etc., shall be erected before commencement of work and heat must be made available.
