Common use of Company Grievance Clause in Contracts

Company Grievance. (a) The Company may process a written grievance alleging a violation of the interpretation of this Agreement by the Union or a member of the bargaining Unit by presenting it to the Union’s Business Representative within five (5) full working days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance originated. (b) A meeting between the Union’s Business Representative and Company shall be convened within ten (10) full working days to deal with the grievance. (c) Should no satisfactory settlement be reached within five (5) full working days after the meeting, the grievance may be submitted to arbitration.
