Common use of Company Initiated Training Clause in Contracts

Company Initiated Training. Where the Company requires an employee’s participation in a training program, the Company shall bear the full cost of the employee’s training including, as applicable: tuition, examination fees, entrance or registration fees, course required books, or other legitimate expenses as determined by the Company. Where the program entails leave of absence, such leave of absence shall be with salary and other benefits excluding overtime or other premium payments. Where the program involves travel, the employee will be reimbursed for travel and other associated expenses in accordance with Article 22.09. At the Company’s expense, training will be provided to employees with work activities that require legislative or regulatory qualifications.
