Company Service Credit. (a) In hiring employees for Union-represented positions from various sources, the Company shall provide and the employees shall receive "Previous Company Service Credit" earned at the PORTS site with predecessors to WEMS, including, but not limited to, Lockheed Xxxxxx Energy Systems, Lockheed Xxxxxx Utilities Services, USEC, BJC (and its first and second tier subcontractors), if such service credit is in effect at the time of a formal WEMS offer of employment. If any benefit has been liquidated based on such former service, that service shall not be allowed as credited service by WEMS (e.g., severance). "Previous Company Service Credit" shall be provided by the Company as outlined in the following table. (b) UDS may hire employees for Union-USW represented positions posi- tions from various sources, the Company shall provide and the sources during this “Initial Staff-Up Period”. (bd) Any dispute as to former Company Service Credit al- lowed, or dates of former service, or other such facts will be resolved by the company and union before, and as a condition of accepting employment with UDS. Any attempt to question such mutually agreed determinations subsequent to accepting employment with UDS will not be pursuable through the grievance procedure and/or arbitration clause of this contract
(e) An employee’s "Total employeeʼs total Company Service Credit" Credit with WEMS UDS shall consist of Previous Company Service Credit plus service credit accrued as a result of the time actually spent on the WEMS UDS payroll, plus allowable time under Article VIII, section 2, plus properly approved absences from work, to be determined under the following rules:.
