  • Rate Adjustment (a) An employee who is set back to a lower paid job because of mechanization, technological change or automation will receive the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback for a period of three (3) months and for a further period of three (3) months he will be paid an adjusted rate which will be midway between the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback and the rate of his new regular job. At the end of this 6-month period the rate of his new regular job will apply. However, such employee will have the option of terminating his employment and accepting severance pay as outlined in Section 5 below, providing he exercises this option within the above-referred-to 6-month period.

  • Wage Adjustments If the funding available to be used for wages provided by Government in any fiscal year increases, the Employer shall pass on such increases to employees consistent with the funding increase adjusted for any additional deficits that this contract incurs. This will be the case whether the funding increase is for the entire year or simply a portion of it, and wage increases shall be effective upon the effective date of the increased funding. Should there be no increase provided by Government, wages will be maintained at their present levels. Should there be a decrease in funding, then the Employer will maintain wages at present levels.   • Annual Adjustments Base Rent shall be increased on each annual anniversary of the first day of the first full month during the Term of this Lease (each an “Adjustment Date”) by multiplying the Base Rent payable immediately before such Adjustment Date by the Rent Adjustment Percentage and adding the resulting amount to the Base Rent payable immediately before such Adjustment Date.
